Tailgate Master on the Dirt Track
TailgateMaster.com is proud to be sponsoring Thomas Ahrndt Racing out of Hawley, Minnesota for the 2012 race season.
Eighteen year old Tom Ahrndt is in his third year on the dirt track. He primarily races Fridays at I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN and Sundays at Buffalo River Race Park (BRRP) which is less than an hour East of Fargo, ND.
Many classes of cars race at these tracks in the Wissota group including Street Stock, Late Model, Modifieds, Midwest Modified, 4 Cylinders, Pure Stocks, Super Stocks and Legends.... these weekend warriors really know how to put on a great show and the kids love the candy toss at intermission.
If you have never been to a dirt track race.. you are seriously missing out. We love grabbing the family and heading to the races but we especially love the Fergus track for it allows tailgating... INSIDE the race park! That's right you need not leave your grill while you watch events unfold on the 3/8 mile oval dirt raceway.
What a fun family atmosphere! Loud and proud... these racers get er done!
If you are out it the greater Minnesota area this summer... make sure to come out and cheer for Ahrndt Racing!
Congratz Minnesota !!!
A glad day indeed to all the fans of the Vikings!
May your days of tailgating continue to be loud and proud in your new stadium in downtown Minneapolis, MN. Words cannot express as to how glad I am that the Vikings will remain in Minnesota for the foreseeable future.
Skol my friends. Skol!
New Backyard Recipes Added
Hey gang! Several new grilling recipes have been added in the last two weeks...check the New Additions tab.
Also, don't forget you can adjust any recipe for the size of your parting by using the slider under the ingredients list... (we added that 'cause we hate math).

Turn Twice...Or Turn Early, Turn Often?
Howdy folks!
I want to talk about an age old debate I've had with my brother for years. And the more I talk to folks, the more it seems you're one or the other, and never the two shall mingle. So I ask you, fine members of Tailgate Master:
When you're grilling, are you a 'food flipping minimalist', or are you a 'turn early, turn often' guy/gal?
