Little Smokies wrapped in bacon… this is favorite on game day and can be made up the day before if placed in a covered container and refrigerated. Super easy… super good! Super Bacony goodness! Enjoy.
(Serves 5 people)
1 pound thick sliced bacon
2 packages little smokies *
2 cups brown sugar
- Cut bacon strips into thirds. Wrap bacon around little smokie and hold in place with toothpick (do not use plastic or colored ones) continue until you have wrapped them all.
- Place in deep aluminum pan and cover generously with brown sugar.
- Place on grill and use low to medium heat approx. 350 degrees for 60 minutes. If using a crock pot use the lowest setting for 2-4 hours.
- Serve when brown sugar has caramelized.
