Mushoom and Bacon Kabobs

You can skewer about anything like Little Smokies or Pineapples but don’t forget about the basics that make for great tailgate food like this simple kabob.

(For 5 people)

1 pound Bacon (thin cut) Pepper Bacon works great too.
1 Package Mushrooms

  1. Pre-Oil grill and bring temp up to 400 F.
  2. Weave skewer with mushrooms and bacon.
  3. Place on oiled grill. Use indirect heat as much as possible being careful to avoid flare-ups ’cause fire loves bacon.

Optional: Nacho cheese makes a good dipping sauce for it! (use a small aluminum tin and place on grill to warm)
