This large batch of award winning chili recipe, makes enough for about 30 hungry tailgaters. It is very mild and sweet (not spicy).

5 Pounds Hamburger (ground, cooked, drained)
4 Cans RO*TEL Original Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies (linky)*
3 Cans Diced Tomatoes (15 oz)
4 Cans Chili Beans (15 oz)
1 Can Dark Red Beans (15 oz)
1 Can Light Red Beans (15 oz)
1-2 Cans Tomato Paste (12 oz) OPTIONAL… leave this out if you like less “Tangy”
2 Cans Black Olives (15 oz)
1 Pound Sliced Mushrooms
1 Red Onion (Diced)
2 Large Sweet Onions (Diced)
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Chili Spices / Chili Powder
3 Tablespoons Basil
1/4-1/2 Cup Chicago Steak Seasoning (linky)*
1) Dice your onions and add to hamburger, and 1/2 your spices. Cook Hamburger until browned. Drain.
2) In a large cooking pot add all the other ingredients (except mushrooms and black olives) along with the other half of the spices and cook at a slow boil for 60 minutes
3) add mushrooms and black olives, cook for another 15 minutes.
4) Combine all ingredients onto heated serving pot (like a large 18 quart roaster) set on low a serve as needed.
