If you are from the mid-west a good side of potatoes with your steak is standard fare. Here is another way to mix it up a bit. Cook on indirect heat and start well before you start your meat.

(For 3 people)

2 Medium Potatoes
1/3 Green Pepper
1/3 Red Pepper
1/3 Orange or Yellow Pepper
1/2 cup Butter
1 pinch Garlic Salt
1 pinch Garlic Pepper

  1. Dice Potatoes and put on aluminum foil.
  2. Chop Peppers and onion and add to potatoes.
  3. Add butter to top.
  4. Sprinkle garlic salt and garlic pepper to taste.
  5. Wrap with second piece of aluminum foil and grill on upper rack for 60 minutes.
