So there is a game this Sunday, you are having friends over to watch and plan to order a pizza or two.
Dude… seriously, Don’t be that guy.
I know it seams overwhelming… but trust me, you don’t have to be a experienced 5 star grill master to have a great party… let me give you a few ideas to get you going in the right direction.
First, lets start with a few easy ones… Remember: Crock pots are your friend
SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE
Little BigGuns (bacon wrapped smokies in brown sugar… nothing says Super Party like Little BigGuns)
Little Smokies (need a last minute horse-diver? grab your favorite BBQ sauce and try this! yeah… i know, my spelling isn’t all that good)
Gameday Slow Cooker BBQ Meatballs (Making barbecue meatballs in a crock pot is one of the staples of game day.)
Jackie’s Famous Meatballs (a strange wonderful mix of two things you probably already have in your house… these appetizers are simply unforgettable)
Crock Pot Chili (very simple and low maintenance way of making sure your guests have plenty of good food, while you watch the game)
Awesome Venison Chili (Have some venison in the freezer? Today is the perfect day to show off what a great hunter you are with this yummy concoction)
Crock Pot Chili Dogs (as long as you are doing chili, why not go all out and make a chili dog bar with all the fixin’s)
Slow Cooker Potatoes with Chives and Bacon (Keep Calm and Chive on with these simple slow cooker potatoes. KCCO!)
Bacon Deviled Eggs (this one doesn’t even need a crock pot)
Thor’s Caviar (some versions known as Texas Caviar, make sure to have plenty of this on hand!)
WINGS WINGS WINGS
Tangy Hot Wings (Love Frank’s hot sauce? You will want to see this one)
Honey Mustard Wings (Crock Pot friendly – Admiral BigGun approved!)
Spicy Asian Chicken Wings (I prefer doing these on the grill… you choose what works best for you)
Red Hot Honey Wings (Turn up the heat… AND … stay out of the kitchen)
Slow Cooker Root Beer Wings (a favorite at my house, tough to go wrong with this one)
Garlic and Beer Wings (you will need to make a trip to Cabella’s not that THAT should be a problem)
Cheesy Poof Wings (to do this right, you really need to fire up the grill)
SPEAKING OF YOUR GRILL
Tequila Grilled Chicken Legs (SUPERSIZE your wings by making them out of drumsticks!)
Bacon Wrapped Turkey Legs (SUPER-SUPER SIZE your drumsticks and make Ron Swanson proud)
Spicy Sausage and Shrimp Skewers (gotta love food on a stick!)
Smoky Cheddar Jalapeño poppers (made without cream cheese and stuffed with meat)
Pineapple Bacon on a Stick (simple to grill – awesome to eat)
Jalapeño Mushroom Bombs (even people that don’t like things spicy, love these. They have just the right amount of awesome)
I Triple Dog Dare You (his baby is one mega-massive-meat dog made with three (count ’em) three meats and pepper jack cheese.)
Bacon Beer Brats (not as complex as the Tripple Dog Dare you, yet still wonderful… plus BEER!)
Grilled Steak Fajitas (a little more involved, but the payoff is great)
Then why not go all out this year and create a Masterpiece?
The Orangewood Smoked PorkLordy Trophy (smoked ham wrapped with bacon and shaped like a SuperBowl trophy… your friends won’t forget your party anytime soon)
So now that i have taken away your excuses… what are you making on gameday?
