Crock Pot Chili Dogs
January 7, 2016Sometimes you can’t make it to the game but you still want to make a special game day meal… your crock pots will help you out if you remember to freeze your left-over chili.
Oh… you need a good chili recipe? (CLICK HERE)
You will need two crock pots for best outcome. (I have like eight of them so… yeah… I might have a problem.)
1-2 packages of all beef franks
4 cups Crock Pot Chili frozen from a previous meal is fine
2 Cups Shredded Cheese (4 Mexican blend is great here)
Hot Dog Buns
Optional: Chopped onions, green peppers, black olives or anything else you like on your chili dogs

Chili Dogs are a great food on game day!
In your 1st crock pot: place frozen chili and set your slow cooker on low to warm up.
In your 2nd crock pot: place frozen beef franks along with 1/2 cup water, cover and set your slow cooker on low to warm up.
Everything should be ready to go in 3-4 hours (or crank up your slow cookers to high for 2-3 hours).
Serve on sliced hot-dog buns and sprinkle with cheese as well as diced onions, peppers, olives or any other toppings that you love on your dogs.
Turn on the game and enjoy.
