Thee Easiest Slow Cooker Beer Sausage Football Recipe… Ever!
Grab your slow cooker, and break out the beer. This is the most simple recipe that I have ever posted. Heck… I have a hard time even calling it a “recipe”, but it does make for a great addition to game day. Perfect on the days when you don’t have time to create a huge feast but still want people to know that you can create great game-day food in a short time frame. Let’s just call this: Slow Cooker Beer Sausage, and then we can go from there.
NOTE: There are only two ingredients: Sausage and Beer!
NO… Really… that’s it.
What? You need more details? OK… fine. This is what you should do…
First: Head to your local butcher and pick up some great quality sausage (NO… that is not in any way, any kind of innuendo).
Second: Get out your slow-cooker and set it on low.
Third: Slice up the sausage into 1/2″ or 1/4″ size sections then add them to the slow cooker.
Forth: Add 1 Cup Beer (pick your favorite)
Fifth: Leave cooker on low for 8 hours… then serve during the game.
See… SUPER EASY… but delicious.
