Grilled Cinnamon Apple CrispJuly 11, 2017
So… your team just lost by 100 points and everyone in your group is really depressed. Yeah… that’s a bummer… but here is a dessert that will get them talking about something other than the game.
Personally, I like to mix Pink Lady and Granny Smith apples for this dish, but you could certainly use any type apples that you like.
Overall, this is a pretty easy recipe… and is a FANtastic grilled dessert (heck… i’d even eat this for breakfast!).
(Serves 2 people)
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Stick Butter
1 dash Cinnamon
1 dash Oatmeal
2 Scoops Ice Cream
1.) Core and slice your apples and place in aluminum pan
2.) Sprinkle with cinnamon, brown sugar, and oatmeal
3.) Add butter to the top
4.) Cook on grill 350 for 30-40 minutes (indirect heat) until done
5.) Optional but recommended: Serve with old fashioned vanilla ice cream… ’cause that makes this grilled treat super awesome!
