Grilled Lemon Pepper Fish Fillets
June 8, 2012There are few items as healthy or as delicious to grill than fish. We are fortunate enough to live in the land of 10,000 lakes where we have one of the more impressive “fishing boats per person” ratios in the country. So, you could probably guess that cooking fish is pretty darn common up Nort, doncha know?!
Fish also just happens to be one of the easiest and quickest meats to cook on the grill. Grilled Walleye or Northern Pike is delicious! Even grilled panfish, like bluegills, perch and crappie are great table fair, and this recipe will work well on all of them.
6 ounces Fish Fillet
1 teaspoon EVOO
1/4 Sliced Lemon
1 dash Ground Pepper or Lemon Pepper
-
- Preheat grill to 400.
- Place fillet on good size sheet of aluminum foil and coat fillet on both sides with extra virgin olive oil (EVOO).
-
- Season with ground pepper (or lemon pepper) and juice from the lemon slices.
- Wrap aluminum foil so it completely covers fish and place on grill.
- Grill for 20 minutes flipping over at the half way point.
