How to Cook Frozen Vegetables on the Grill
September 19, 2014There are lots of ways to cook vegetables on the grill… but we like the easy recipes that taste the best because we are lazy, and would rather drink adult beverages while hanging out with the cool people at the tailgate while spending our time talking about football, instead of spending hours and hours digging through the local farmers market finding the perfect carrot to clean and chop… then sauteing and marinading these perfectly grown open range organically perfect specimens of science. Luckily we don’t have to do that crap because we were born in a country that has decent quality, easy to find veggies in the frozen food section of your local Super-Walmart. This is one great way to cook them. God Bless A – MURICA!
(Serves about 4)
1 Package frozen mixed veggies
1 Stick of butter
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
1.) Open bag of frozen vegetables & butter. Place in cooking pot or skillet
2.) Grill over indirect heat (350 F) for about 5 (but no more than 10) minutes. The biggest trick here is DON’T OVER COOK.
3.) Remove from heat, Sprinkle in Salt and Pepper and cover for 2 minutes… then serve.
That’s it…. Seriously. Not everything in life is “rocket surgery”.
