Kielbasa Sausage and Beer Recipe = Yeah!!! Sign me up!

When you are tailgating at home on game day, one of your best friends should be a crock pot or slow cooker. If you don’t have one… go buy one. I have like eight of them.

not even kidding.

You will love the ease of creating this yummy man food or should I say “fan food”. Whatever you prefer to call it, make sure to try it. Your sports guests will be glad you did!

You will need:

2 lbs. Kielbasa sausage
1 can or bottle of your favorite Beer. (MMMMMM Beeeer)
1 can Sauerkraut (14 or 16 oz)

kelbasa sausage sour kraut and coors banquet beer

THREE! Three, Ingredients! AH – Haa Haa Haa!

1)  Slice sausage into approximately 1 inch pieces and add to crock pot

cut up the sausage into 3/4 inch pieces and place in crock pot

Slice up sausage into 1/2 inch to 1 inch pieces

2)  Add sauerkraut (discard liquid)

Put all ingredients in slow cooker

For this game day banquet, we are using banquet beer

3) pour in your beer, cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours.

That’s it! Your kielbasa and beer is done when the sausage is plump and tender.
