Purple Reign Burgers
Perfect for Vikings games! These burgers are fit for kings, especially if those kings enjoy Crown Royal Whiskey!
Top these babies with cheese, pickles and of course BACON to make them a FANtastic feast to behold (and even better to eat).
YOU WILL NEED:
3 lbs Ground Hamburger
1 small Purple Onion (chopped)
1 Cup Oatmeal (or crushed crackers)
2 Medium Eggs
2 Shots Crown Royal Whiskey
Salt/Pepper/Garlic (or your favorite Sports Spices)
Hamburger Buns
TOP WITH:
American Cheese
Pickles
Bacon
BBQ Sauce
The secret ingredient
- Add hamburger, eggs, chopped onion, oatmeal, spices, and pour whiskey in to large mixing bowl
- Hand mix thoroughly
- Form into 1/4 pound or 1/3 pound patties
These patties are ready for the grill!
- Pre-heat grill to 500
- Lower heat to 350 and place burgers directly on grill, cooking 15-20 minutes flipping half way through.
- Assemble your burgers topping them with cheese, pickles, bacon and barbecue sauce
These grilled burgers are juicy and full of flavor.
