Bill's Rib Rub
This a rub recipe used for smoking pork ribs. I learned it from my friend Bill which is why i call it "Bill's Rib Rub". Pretty good name, amirite? Looks like I need to get to the store and grab some more supplies!
(For 4 people)
1 Whole Container Tones* Red Pepper (.50 oz)
1 shot or two of apple cider or juice
1 shot or two of apple cider vinegar
1 Whole Container Tones* Garlic (.90 oz)
1 Good hand full of Brown Sugar
1 Whole Container Tones* Onion Powder (.75 oz)
1 Big Chili Powder (4.50 oz)
I combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl and rub it in one an hour before the smoke: One big chili power, a good hand full of brown sugar, one whole Tones red pepper, a whole Tones garlic, a whole Tones onion powder. A shot or two of apple cider, and apple cider vinegar to hold it together.
