We Will Be Tailgating July 21st (VIPERS at INVADERS)

The Fargo Invaders (5-2) play their last regular season home game on Saturday, July 21st, 2018 against the Minnesota Vipers (1-6). The Vipers (who hail from Cottage Grove, MN) will be traveling this week to be playingat Invaders’ home field, at Shanley High School in Fargo, ND. Tailgate Master (2017 Sponsor of the year) and our very own Horned Hatted Hero, Admiral BigGun will be on hand, and will be grilling up yummy dogs and burgers for our awesome fans. We also have it on high authority that he will probably be giving out free HIGH FIVES and FIST BUMPS for the kiddies.

The MINNESOTA VIPERS are coming into North Dakota with a chip on their shoulder and something the prove. This young team is full of pride and really knows how to grind and is certainly not going to “mail it in” this week. The Vipers may have a total of only one win so far this seasoon, but don’t expect them to go quietly into the night. These guys look to be an up and coming team and they are definitely looking to close out the 2018 season with a statement win.
On the other side of the field, the FARGO INVADERS are looking to make sure that whole “statement win” thing doesn’t happen. They are planning on to build on the 65 to nothing thumping that they dished out two weeks ago against the Thunderhawks. The Invaders realize that they need to shut out the Vipers for a chance to move up from 4th and take a better spot in the 2018 play-offs bracket.
The Invaders defense played quite well against the Thunderhawks two weeks ago. Granted, they were certainly not perfect, but still managed to get away with the shutout. The Storm decided to not travel to Fargo on July 14th and forfeited last weeks game.
This is the very first meeting of these two NEFL teams, so we are expecting unbridled awesomeness. We hope you will come join us and cheer your team to Victory!
Kickoff time is set for 6:00 PM Saturday, July 21st. In south Fargo.
This event will be super fun for the whole family so feel free to bring the younglings! OH… and make sure to get your photo taken with Admiral BigGun! 😀
